Glazing

We offer several glazing options from standard 2mm float glass, to super clarity, anti-reflective glass with 99% ultra-violet filtering. We will advise you on the benefits and costs of each type of glass to ensure you get the correct glazing for your picture. 

Standard 2mm Float Glass
Excellent quality 2mm float glass which is very affordable and is our standard glass. Used for day to day, low cost items to be framed. 

Art Glass AR70
Art glass AR70 reveals the true colours and textures of your artwork and its anti-reflective coating allows you to view the artwork by reducing the unwanted reflections to less that 1% UV filtering approximately 70%. 

Art Glass AR99
Art glass AR99 will provide 99% light transmission while giving less that 0.5% reflection of the artwork. UV filtering 99%. This type of glass is used on originals, limited editions and artwork of sentimental or monetary value. 

Clear Acrylic Plastic Glass
Comes in various thickness and is mainly used if standard glass is not suitable. For example, in public places for safety or when the frame is very large and weight is a problem when hanging the artwork. Clear acrylic comes in both standard form and UV form which will block out 99% of harmful light.
